Prosper, TX — The Prestonwood Christian Academy North Lady Lions wrapped up their 2024–2025 volleyball season with a statement win and a story of perseverance. The Lady Lions showed tremendous growth throughout a challenging TAPPS 2A District 3 schedule—and capped off the season with a resounding 3–0 bi-district playoff victory.
From their first serve in August to their final huddle in November, this young team played with heart, hustle, and a higher purpose.
A SEASON OF FIRSTS, FIGHTS, AND FAITH
The Lady Lions kicked off their season with a 3–1 win over Greenville Christian on August 27, setting the tone with energy and team chemistry that had been building all summer. They followed that up with competitive tournament play, including a 1–1 tie with Coram Deo Academy on August 30 that proved the team could go toe-to-toe with regional talent.
But it wasn’t just about the wins. The team faced a tough district lineup that included perennial contenders like Ovilla Christian and First Baptist Academy. Despite dropping matches in district play, the Lady Lions never lost their spirit. In one of the most thrilling matches of the year, they took First Baptist to five sets, narrowly falling short—but showing the kind of grit that defines a culture on the rise.
“These girls never gave up,” said Head Coach [Name]. “They learned how to fight, how to bounce back, and most importantly, how to honor Christ in both victory and defeat.”

PLAYING FOR A HIGHER PURPOSE
Throughout the season, the team leaned on their faith, grounding their preparation and competition in Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
In huddles, team chapels, and post-game reflections, the girls stayed anchored in purpose—growing spiritually even when the scoreboard didn’t go their way.
From learning how to lose with grace to celebrating hard-earned wins, the Lady Lions built more than a volleyball season. They built trust, leadership, and a legacy.
