PCA North Celebrates First-Ever Golf Signee on National Signing Day Prosper, TX – December 4, 2024

A historic milestone was celebrated at Prestonwood Christian Academy North as the school honored its first-ever golf signee and fourth overall student-athlete to commit to playing at the collegiate level.

Senior Coleman Bales signed his Letter of Intent to play men’s golf at East Texas Baptist University, marking a significant moment not just in his own journey, but in the growing legacy of PCA North Athletics. Coleman has been a student at PCA North for six years and has distinguished himself both on and off the course.

As team captain, Coleman helped lead the PCA North Men’s Golf Team to a State Runner-Up finish at the 2024 TAPPS State Golf Tournament, where he also earned individual honors as the Second Place Medalist. Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Coleman is recognized for his character, humility, and leadership.

“Coleman Bales is a Colossians 3:23 golfer,” said Josiah Isom, Head Golf Coach at PCA North. “He places others before himself and leads those around him with integrity. Coleman has a passion for the game of golf, but where he truly excels is in his love for the Lord and his faithfulness to his family. I am so proud of this young man, and I know God has big plans for him ahead.”
